Volunteer registration for the 2010 Northern Trust Open will begin in Fall, 2009.

All volunteers are required to purchase an official uniform (Northern Trust Open shirt and jacket). Volunteers can purchase uniforms by calling (800) 752-6736. If you were a volunteer in 2009, you are not required to purchase a new uniform for the 2010 tournament.

Work at least two full days
Purchase your own uniform for $73
Be at least 16 years old by February 1, 2010

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Course Setup²: Setup/tear-down the ropes and stakes lining the course and neighborhood.
(Stake Course: Thursday, February 4; Stake & Rope Neighborhood: Saturday, February 6; Rope Course: Sunday, February 7; Cleanup Monday, February 15)

Communications²: Answer telephones providing general tournament information to the public. Assist with distribution and check-in of tournament radios. (Monday - Sunday)

Caddie Services¹: Distribute caddy bibs at 1st or 10th tee and collect them at the 9th or 18th green. (Wednesday - Sunday)

Corporate Hospitality³: Check sponsor credentials and assist in hospitality areas. (Thursday - Sunday)

Golf Events¹: Assist with registration, tee gifts, beverages, etc. (Pro-Am: Monday, February 1 or Wednesday, February 3)

Marshals¹: Provide gallery control, ball spotting, etc. Marshals report to the Hole Captain. (Wednesday - Sunday)

Media Services²: Register media and help manage the daily operations of the media center. (Wednesday - Sunday)

Merchandise²: Assist in setting up and selling of tournament merchandise. (Monday - Sunday)

Player Locker Room¹: Men Only. Help meet the players' miscellaneous needs. (Monday - Sunday)

"Shotlink" Scoring¹: Operate a simple laser for the Shotlink scoring system. This system is easy to learn! (Thursday - Sunday)

Standard Bearers¹: Walk with players and display their scores on a five-pound sign. *Must work Thursday or Friday to work on the weekend. (Thursday - Sunday)

Tickets/Will Call¹: Assist with ticket sales and will call tickets. (Monday - Sunday)

Tournament Operations¹: Assist with tournament operations before, during and after tournament week. (All Month)

Transportation¹: Transport players and guests to and from hotels and the airport. (Saturday, February 6 - Monday, February, 15)
